After completing her postgraduate studies, she started her career with Ernst & Young Global in India. She has eight years of experience in audit and assurance services for public and private companies under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
Before moving to Japan, she worked on U.S. audit engagements involving public companies, private-to-public transitions, first-year audits, group audits, and employee benefit plans. Her industry experience includes the products, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and service sectors.
While working with RSM US LLP in India, she obtained her USCPA qualification and managed high-risk audit engagements across the full audit cycle, involving SEC requirements, SOX internal control testing, and PCAOB-based journal entry testing. She has worked across financial statements with ERP-based accounting systems such as Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks, and SAP.
During her career, she also led audit innovation initiatives focused on improving audit quality, data-driven procedures, and execution efficiency using tools such as Interactive Data and Extraction Analysis (IDEA), Alteryx, Power BI, and other data analytics tools.
After moving to Japan, she joined Nihon-Bashi International Accounting Firm. In her current role, she provides company audit, due diligence, and bank audit services, as well as cross-border assignments for clients across different geographies.
