After graduating from university, Mr. Matayoshi began his career at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry while preparing for the CPA qualification, which he obtained in 2008.
He then joined Ernst & Young Japan, where he worked primarily on audits of listed manufacturing companies. He served as audit manager for precision machinery and JASDAQ-listed manufacturers, and was actively involved in the initial implementation of Japan’s internal control reporting system (J-SOX).
Following his time at the audit firm, he joined an accounting practice, gaining experience in tax compliance and business valuation.
In 2016, he moved to Beauty Kadan Co., Ltd., a company listed on the TSE Standard Market, where he became Head of Finance and Accounting.
He oversaw financial reporting, disclosure, compliance with new accounting standards such as revenue recognition, internal control assessments, and external audit coordination.
In 2020, he was appointed Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), leading the company’s financial strategy and strengthening its governance framework.
Over the years, he has also served as auditor and director at several group companies, building extensive expertise in corporate management and financial governance for listed entities.
In 2024, he joined Nihon-Bashi International Accounting Firm. In 2026, he assumed a partner of J-Bridge International Audit Firm.
